Day 9 To Caiguna ( John Eyre Motel) 92 miles
Up at daybreak yet again to continue along Australia’s longest straight road. Other than dead kangaroos, a blowhole and heat , it was like any other day. Mile after mile on hot tarmac. The Nullarbor area is a fine example of karst. (Geological term.... look it up!)as a result there are big holes in the earth called blowholes.....
We arrived at The Caiguna Roadhouse and after a shower and a few beers we had a nice meal of rissoles, gravy and mash in the restaurant. Chatted with a couple from Somerset who are travelling in a fab camper ten times the size of ours!
