Day 7. (94miles)
We returned to where I had given Dermot the lift and he then cycled to Norseman ( NO CHEATING ALLOWED!!). On arrival back at the motel sime 60 k later he was well ready for his breakfast!
Feeling refreshed and nourished off he went again inthe direction of Balladonia. I filled up the petrol tank and bought more water as we are now entering the Nullarbor where water and fuel and shops and accommodation will be scarce!( and phone signal and internet!)
A welcome break!
Picnic spot
Just an interesting rock
A forest fire??? No just an amazing outback sunset.

The only camp site
was the Fraser Range station described as an oasis in the outback. He’d had enough just 20 k before it so I took him that last 20 k (to be repaid tomorrow!)
We pitched up and had electricity which meant we could keep the fridge going ( big bonus) I cooked burgers, fried onions and couscous which was washed down with beer and red wine. Excellent! Haute cuisine in the outback!
We were in bed by 7.30 (darkness) and up 5.30 (daylight) Really in tune with Mother Nature .
