Day 4 Burracoppin to Yellowdine ( 75 miles)
Not a great night’s sleep in the camper as the bed wasn’t in correct position but we did ok! Later start at 7.40 but cool and less wind. Rufus had gone earlier. Dermot found it easier today. We had lunch at a picnic table in Southern Cross then I went to the local pool to swim my mile and to my delight it was FREE! Dermot went on to Yellowdine only to find nothing there! A closed down motel and no camping places so he came back in the camper to a motel in Southern Cross. I will take him to Yellowdine in the morning to continue his route.
Today we passed the Rabbit proof fence, which stretches from north to south, over 1000 miles. “Follow the rabbit proof fence”is a very good read.

The above photo was taken at one of our meeting stops. I decided I didn’t really need to go as there was talk of a snake in one of the cubicles. Dermot was desperate and had a very hasty poo!!!!! He lives to tell the tale!!!
